i just bought it a week ago, clutch seems fine but since it has dropped below freezing i have had problems getting it into gear, every gear. if i sit and pump the clutch for a while after it warms up it isn't so bad still a little sticky though. i checked the clutch fluid and its fine. i haven't checked the transmission fluid but will in the morning. what i am asking is this common? the owners manual says quote from manual "NOTE DURING COLD WEATHER, SHIFTING MAY BE DIFFICULT UNTIL THE TRANSAXLE LUBRICANT HAS WARMED UP. THIS IS NORMAL AND NOT HARMFUL TO THE TRANSAXLE."
am i experiencing what they are talking about or possibly something else.
background i have driven and worked on all kinds of vehicles though the closest to the galant i have worked on was a 91 eagle summit, i believe its pretty much the same but that has been ten years ago.
thanks all help appreciated greatly jason
