 Left Rear Tail Lights Not Working... Please Help!

I have an 01 Mitsubishi Galant LS. The left rear tail light does not work, however all of the other tail lights work on the car. I have changed the bulbs in the left rear assembly, and still nothing. I have checked the wires and the fuses, all good. The turn signals and the brake lights work in that assembly, but not the parking lights. Its quite confusing and I would like some advice... Please help!

yes, i have installed a remote starter... however, we pulled the fuse in the starter so that it had no power... the lights still doesn't work.
