Oem Gauge Problem Need Help Asap!

Senior Group: Members Posts: 674 Joined: 12-October 07 Member No.: 46,421 Status: Location: USA Drives: 1993 eclipse gs non-turbo 4g63 motor 5spd.	Okay, i scored a stock guage from ebay, i installed it fine, everything works as far as the 4 way flashers, the alternator, battery etc etc.... my problem is this: the rpm's arent going when i start the car, it just sits at 0, the speedo works fine and so does the gas and temp gauge. problem 2: when i turn my head lights on, the dash wont light up <_< can anyone help me??? i greatly appreciate it.

But check to see if your tail lights are on when you turn your lights on. That is how you can tell if it is a fuse/wiring problem. Maybe your bulbs are just out...

If the gauges move, then the ground is correct. If the taillights are out, then there is some other wiring problem. More than likely it is a fuse if this is the case. If not, then you probably have a problem at the relay or the bulbs are just bad.
