Drives: Mitsubishi Diamante VR-X
I have had my car for 1 year now. The Fuel Indicator Light always looks like it is on. Is there a fuse or bulb I need to replace? I've been gauging by mileage - difficult though when someone resets the meter. If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate the help.

senders are not always reliable

only a bulb there operated when the tank indicator float is at a low point on the sender

there is a diode on the sender in the tank that may be the fault

other optionis remove the dash and check the light bulb is fully in its holder
