i am looking for the egr valve on my 1999 carisma gdi, does anyone know where i can find it, does anyone also know how to take off the inlet manifold, it seems to be stuck even though i took all bolts out?, how do i remove it from the black filter underneath? thanks

i found the egr valve, it seemed to be open? would this make it keep jumping revs, my car just won't idle, it starts on 1500rpm then it jumps to 2000 and back down again, could this be the egr or just the throttle body motor? anyone else had a similar thing happen to them?

gdi's are very prone to have throttle body faults id say its most likely to be fault on this??
