ok where do i start' all in all the problem i got is that my car holds back when i toe it... Its fine when driving normaly but when i floor it it has the same affect as over boost but with out the backfiring, iv just put the 15g turbos on my car but i am still running a the lowest boost setting i can, its under 0.5 bar so to me theres no way of over boosting... reson iv got it set to that is because the only suporting mods i got so far are' aftermarket intake filter and a 600pounds kakimoto race exourst.
now when i first put the turbos on all was fine but after about an hours driving the problem happend and its not gone away since' its doz this weather the car is hot or cold.....also heres somthing eles to think about' the other day i went out in the car and was driving normaly and then i came home, after about an hour i went back out, i started the car and the idel fine but when i went to pull away the rev's wouldent pick up propaly?? i left it running for about 5 mins and after that it just seemd to fix its self so i went out and its ran find all day all except when i floord it.
Now that what i just talk about the car not picking up the revs also happend on my old engin i had in the car like 3 months ago, now it only ever happend like once in a blue moon maybe like every 2 weeks or so, so i took no notis of it.
ok so iv just been out to my car took it up the road and it runs fine under normal driving but as i said as soon as i floor it it holds back (please dont ask me if im over boosting' its not that) ok what eles have i done' iv replaced the HT leads, iv looked at the new iridium plugs iv put in and there all fine i also took the gas pump out to see if the filter there was blocked and still i found nothing....... iv replaced all vacum hoses under the hood and i even took the inlet manafold off to see if there was somthing wrong there but yet i still see nothing...
all i can think of now is maybe the gas/petrol filter is old and blocked the mine one im talking about located under the hood.
ok so you know my simtoms.....runs fine but when i floor it it holds back and has the powor of a mondao lol and sometimes and i say sometimes it will be funny with me when i first start her.... now is this the fuel pump????????? if theres anyone out there who knows about thos cars and could help i will be a very happy chap knowing i can get my car running as it should again..... thanks for looking at the thred cheers. p.s sorry about the spelling

p.s i have don a diagnostics check with my hand held holo program on my laptop and it all comes back fine with no falt codes..and olso tested the injector with that same program with no prolems.

Your on your stock pump with 15Gs?

And there is no reason not to run the HHH program while driving... Just be warned, you have NO ABS while the logger is connected unless you bought the special adapter cable.

ok if i use defalt' it logs everything anyways, should i do this in graph mode? or just the one that comes up by its self? also should i put the rev counter up? the user maual says its best to.
i think what ill do is do as the maual says and just log idal for 20secs: then hold it at 2000RPM for 30. ill save that one and then ill take the car out and log from stand still all the way upto 3rd gear where i will give it some teo' the car will hold back like its been doing and hopefully record whats happening.. i will then save that to.

hows that sound? i think im right lol

and what do i do then??? how would i know or what do i look at to spot the problem.

thanks your help on this guy's im realy stuck.

i miss my baby running right:-(

yea at the moment 15'g's with the standard pump psi boost of around 7- 7.1/2 or 05 bar' surely you cant be saying the turbos are to much for the furl pump at that boost setting?
i mean if i was boosting at 13-15 psi /1.0 bar boost well fere anoth.

its seems that when the car is cold it dont do it at all but after about 10 20 mins it starts, when the car gets hot thats where the problem seemsto start and only gets worse the more i drive.
like i know now if i leave it over night ad go out in it in the morning it will be ok for the first 10 mins or so..
will the log i done help??? even known it dident hold back that time?
and now iv logged it what do i do with it to finde out if somting is wrong???

You have to explain what you mean by holding back.

does the car buck or jerk?

Stutter?

Is there a popping almost backfire noise?

no backfire at all.. just a stuttering/jurking' even when its stuttering and jerking it still doz pick up speed tho but not well at all. i would say it starts at around 4 to 4 half 1000 revs.
but as i found outthe other day is ok when cold for about 10 mins

Like they said, it's your plugs and wires. They may be sparking or whatever as you say, but they seem to be the culprit. I had the same problem.
