If there was a leak it would not boost at all.

Has it been tuned?

Sounds like your running into knock from being lean?

Or,

your wires are cracked, Plugs need good wires too.

no way it can blow, i had similar problems with the coils, and i was driving it like that for months before having it fixed(couldnt find the problem) an my car never blew up. i did get a spun rod bearing but thats something else. something smells kinda fishy

lol no she defo blow on me' again' this is the second engine and no it wasent the mods at all i was running stock boost of only around 7 psi, something i did notis befor it heppend tho was there was a wining sound coming from the trunk/boot....... fuel pump??? only happend when i had it at 3000rpm.
the pump in there is stock.....could this be the thing that has blown two engines on me??? a siple fuel pump? like the guy said befor maybe she was running lean all this time. i realy need to finde out the problem' i mean two engines have cost me 1900pounds so far and if and thats a big if.... i put another one in i realy dont need it to be happening again.
last week i lost all hart in here and put her on ebay' i have 6 days left to end the action.
im still in two minde weather or not to put another one in' i would just be so gutted if it happend again..
at least i now know its something already on the car that is making the engines blow on me .
all i can think of doing is to put a new engine in and get a wilbro 255 fuel pump and uprate my injectors to 550cc and also put my feul presher regulator in befor i attemt to drive her again and them take her strate to get a good old tune up....
all in all i just dont know if i want to take the chance in going trough all this again.
i mean what if i do all this and then yet again another engin blows on me' where will i be then.
and befor i get ppl who are not to clude up on mods telling me i blow the engines up becuse i dident have the suporting mods for the turbo uprades' dont even bother' i had the boost at around 7psi, at that boost setting there no difrent from stock turbos.

tell me guys what do you think? fuel pump done all this????? is it worth me trying yet again on this car??? should i risk another 1000pounds..?????
ill be so gutted to see her go i know i will but sometimes you just got to call it a day you know.. shes on ebay and i just dont know if to retract the action or not:-(
