Mod with a Hammer Group: Moderator Posts: 1,379 Joined: 22-September 07 Member No.: 45,539 Status: Location: Chicago, IL; USA Drives: 2008 EBP Lancer GTS	I've been wanting to place a GTS emblem on my car and I do remember seeing a topic somewhere on this forum where somebody bought a red GTS emblem for a Toyota Celica and put it on their 2008 Lancer. As much as I searched for the topic, it was all in vain. So, could anybody tell me what year or perhaps an alternative to a GTS emblem that will look satisfactory on my car? Thanks in advance!

Shouldnt be more than $10-15. Its off any newer GTS celicas. They do come in black or red depending on the color of the car, so be specific when u are talking to dealer.

MY WORD! He then told me he needed to order that specific part, so I asked him "What about one from a newer Celica? Like 2002 and up?" He then told me that the emblem needed to match the exact model of the car because the sheet metal on the trunk varies. I was like "But the newer Celicas all have the same body style." He then told me that I needed it to match the car otherwise it would fall off. There were too many things that came to my mind to tell this guy off, but I figured "Thanks" and leaving was the best option. Personally, I was going to get the red emblem and spray paint the GT in silver, leaving a red S, but I've seen some Eclipses with a GTS emblem. Now, it's just a toss up between the two.

Then... TA DAA.. Google comes up trumps again! http://youremblem.com/catalog/ (If you scroll down you can see a variety of letters & fonts, "GTS" costs around $6!) There is also a great looking GT badge near the bottom. I bought the GT emblem & went on a mission to find the "S". I found a great "S" emblem from the Acura RSX Type-S here.. http://twincamtech.stores.yahoo.net/jdmhodc5tyrt.html So I took the "S" & cut off the "type" & sanded & buffed it out put it at the end of the GT emblem. I think it looks awesome, I didn't put the GT-R Nissan Badge on the back, like some Mustang Homo's do! I slapped together a number of links for you all... I just haven't been able to get a break from work. I end my 19 str8 days of work this coming friday. I've had these letters for a few weeks. And I just debadged my car yesterday and put them on, cuz i finally had a chance to wash it. The bird crap i had on my spoiler was the last straw, lol. I'll be taking the letters off today probably, they are an eyesore. I'll figure out something else to put there, that compliments the car. For now tho, i'll be happy with this...
