I have a '08 GTS with Navi.....I updated my Gracenote, but any new CD's i download dont doesnt pull the music ID information to the system. If I download an older CD it always shows the music ID information. Anyone have any ideas?

Using Windows Media 11 I was never able to find the right options to make the text data show when playing a CD. Original CD's never showed either.

Using Nero 8 I have found that selecting MP3 as the file output type will get the track titles to display. As for the CD title, I have to enter that maually. For experimentation, I used CD-RW, then after finding the right settings, I went to CD-R. And an internet connection is requred for either program. This information pertains to the standard radio/CD player, not the upgrade.

hm..the way I do it. I use itunes. if u go to EDIT > preferences> advanced> BUrning > include cd text. I wish I knew this a while ago cause I have like 8 cds that just say no title no artist and Its too tedious to type in every artist/title

I use the iTunes route too. Anyways, WMP11 needs the WMPCDTEXT Plugin to display any CD text, provided you have the disc drive that supports it (most likely you do).
