Anyone know where I could get replacement clips (other than a dealership) for the ground effects (stock) for a 98 GS? I called the dealership and its near $150 for the clips. I work for a fastener company and I know that these things do cost that much. I've looked through some of the catalogs of our automotive vendors but can't figure out which clips are for what...

Or does anyone have the mitsubishi part numbers for the clips that hold on the moldings... I might be able to cross reference them with one of our suppliers. any info would be helpful.

wow nobody has ever had to by new clips for the stock ground effects? or do you all just settle for getting reamed at the dealership for stuff like this?

i heard someone on here sometime saying they got some from the autoparts store.

I'll have to check in the store.... advace auto parts (website) doesn't show any matches for those clips... just wish I could get the mfg and a part number, cause I could prob get them free (or at cost) through work...

just make sure you goto a dealer that knows at least half what they are doing. i went and ordered them from my local dealer for the right side of me car (at the tone of $76) and a. didnt get the right ones so it fell off again (they didnt go far enough into the hold to get a good hold), b. got to many of certain things and c. didnt get enough of other things. basically if you get clips that go into and stay in the hole, have the same diameter head, and about the same distance outwards they should work.
