hey guys, i have a 95 eclipse (rs) and it has nearly 140k on it..
my car wont start; it just cranks and me&my mechanic friend's tested everything (spark and fuel)- theres fuel but no spark. we ran tests on spark like ignition, coil, starter, etc.. we even bought a replacement for my ecu - everything's brand new or still good..

and despite it all, it wont start.. it only will crank!

anybody had the same problem and found a remedy?
please help! my car's been in his shop for like 2 weeks now..

email me at kneeneerz@hotmail.com if anything..
thanks!

Pull the spark plugs and leave them hooked up to the plug wire and and coil and see it you have a spark at the plug. It sounds like you chased it back pretty good check your ground wires perhaps. I had a problem with a different application were the battery tester said it had enough juice to start the car but when it got put under a load it did not have enough to actually start the car you could have something my be causing a drain under load perhaps a short some were. If you have had a stereo installed it could have been installed wrong. Just some ideas I thought I'd throw out there. And if I'm wrong at least I'll give you a bump to the top of the list. I hope it helps <_<
