Hey all.. hopefully a simple question for a bunch of car guys. I have several cars but my commuter is a 2003 Mitsu lancer. I changed the car battery recently and when I connected the negative terminal the factory alarm went off. The key fob will not turn off the alarm and I'm not sure what to do here. I've changed the battery before with no issues, but this time I can't turn it off or start the car. Anyone else experienced this problem and have an idea? Thanks..

What kind of alarm system you are using? Factory OEM or local dealer OEM or Aftermarket?
