Hi All, first time post with a question. I've had a good look around this forum/the web but I can't find the info I'm after, hope someone here can help!
I have a Mitsubishi mirage (1997) with a Mitsubishi Motors factory radio, Model JO42 (that what it is labelled on the front) It doesn't have a cassette or built in CD player, yet it does have a button labelled "CD" I'm assuming that this would enable installation of a CD stacker. I want to know if it is possible to wire a line level signal (from an MP3 player) into this "CD" input. I'm guessing that there could be some connectors on the back of the stereo that would have signal in, power out and possibly something that detects the input signal to go into CD mode.
I don't want to pull everything apart until I know if this can be done. Does anone know if and how this can be done?

Sorry, this is possibly the wrong section of the forum to post this, so I've reposted to the technical section... sorry :right: :57:

I have no idea if this will work or not....but removing the radio to get a look at the back is simple and quick. i think since the radio si 10years old you proably will find youll just need to buy a new radio.
