I have a 91 Triton diesel with a blown gearbox, will a box from a petrol engine fit without any problems. Davo757

In case anyone is interested, Yes it does fit. The bolt pattern is identical and the splines at both ends are the same. The clutch throwout is different, diesel is hydraulic and on opposite side of box. You have to cut a hole in the bell housing for the throwout arm and make a bracket to hold the slave cylinder but it does work, mine did.
