I have a mitsubishi carism gdi 1.8 2001. when i turn the car of the radiator fan keeps going it ran the battry down so i had to jump start it this mornin. Anyone any therories wat it could be.

Faulty sensor/switch. When you just turn the car on will the fan start immediatly even when engine is cold?

he said the battery was flat, which would mean the fan stays on even with the engine not running. could be the thermostat, sometimes they do get stuck open and need replacing
