ill try to keep this short because ive explained it 3 times in the last half hour. I was on the freeway home from a spring break trip. As such there was a MOUND of blankets, etc. obscuring my view on the rear windows (i drive a 1992 talon, so rear visibility is already bad). So im changing lanes like a madman because theres slow moving trucks ALL over the road for some reason. One of those times i dont get so lucky and hit, on the side, an oldish red Sunfire. I immiediatly went back into my lane after realizing what had happened (obviously). The damage on the Sunfire was minimal: about maybe a less than a foot long ding a foot or so to the right of the top right wheel. Naturally this would be easy to buff out (i would hope), but what worries me is, for some GODFORSAKEN reason, i didnt stop or exit to exchange insurance information. I didnt think about it since the damage was so minimal and we were on the freeway, im wondering if i should be worried about this, since the people i hit can LEGALLY pursue me for this (however minor the damage may be). To make matters WORSE the car isnt technically in my name as ive gotten it fairly recently and havent made the trip to the courthouse to transfer the title. Thoughts/suggestions/comments??

im assuming they got my plates, they pulled behind me, didnt honk or otherwise motion to me that i could see (the other passenger was watching them pretty much the whole time, i think she wouldve told me if shed seen anything). Maybe they didnt notice any damage until after they parked, was what couldve happened, in which case i, of course, would be home free. It looks like i am as it is, but im going to remain on my guard about it.
