(N) flashing after (3)gear 3500_4000 rpm,been ok before,just started after changing oil on gearbox(to be onest didnt put very expensive one,a simple autom transm oil,might bee that the problem ?anyone helppp

should the ~n~(neutral) light start to flash, there is a problem with the unit. while driving in 'd' mode should the 'n' light flash quickly (2 times per second) it means the automatic transmission oil has overheated. pull over to the side of the road, put lever in 'p' and leave the engine running, then open the bonnet. wait 5-10 minutes then put lever to 'd'. if its stopped flashing then its ok to drive. should the 'n' light still flash quickly or slowly have the vehicle checked out.
