No, it's 4G94. The 4G64 is the 2.4L engine.

so your saying that the 4g63 head will fit on to the 4g94 block....... I have not heard of that swap. I have heard of the 4g64 with the 4g63 head. hell even the HSK evo 9 HAVE this swap.

well i have a 2.0 lancer not a 2.4 so i dont know what i could swap with.

get a 4G64 SOHC engine from a 94 galant then use your 4G63T head on the 4G64 block... here are some links for the whole process:

even from there you still have to look if its a 6 bolt or a 7 bolt motor

you're right... just can't figure out which one to go with... the 6 bolt or the 7 bolt... others who have done this swap said that it's safer to go with the 6 bolt... something about the crank walking...

lancer oz, es, 4g94 is SOHC and the 4g63 is DOHC. and the 4g64 will not accept it either, different dimensions!
