so i was out of town with my girl and we were coming back from a car show and im on the freeway doing like 75 and just cruisin and talkin to my girl. not really paying attention to the other cars and i just glance in my rearview mirror and i see a brand new civic weaving in and out of traffic coming my way. im just like whatever and dont think much of it. he pulls up next to me and i can tell he thinks his car is hot stuff. its a brand new white vtech SI and its got the sticker still in the back window so the guy just barley bought it. i just look ahead and keep talkin to my girl and he revs his engine at me and starts doing some stupid ***. he would slow down a little then floor it and pass me while im just cruising. he did it like five times and i just am laughing at him cause he looks like an *****. so he slows down and gets next to me and gives me this look like his car is so bad. i look at my girlfriend and she says kick his **** lol so he starts to floor it and i down shift to third and bam i took off and i pulled away from him so hard it was sad. i got going 125 before i slowed down and it took him forever to catch up. he pulls up next to me and tries to do it again lol ya it wasnt happening. it was one of the funnest things i have done and it made me feel great knowing that he bought a brand new car thinking it was fast just to have a car 13 years older than it kick his ****. lol what a waste of money. i mean ya hondas are great gas cars and are reliable and will last forever and ya sure they can be made to be fast but i would take a old eclipse over a new civic anyday. mitsu power baby

His car wasn't an si.

It could've been an auto with a kid afraid to drive it hard or it coulda been a stick but he was too much of a **** to redline it.

My friend has an 06 civic 5spd non si. We raced from a dead stop and were even to about 40 when I shifted to 2nd and started to pull on him. Put him in his place for talking ***. It's funny b/c his car only has 15k miles on it. He did a fly by after that. Retard

He may have one but he doesn't know how his i-vtec works.

It is a new system that actually begins to engage at 5400 RPMs and is fully engaged by 5800.

My numbers may be off by 100 +/-

Long gone are the B-series motors where the vtec popped in at a specific RPM.
