Dear Friends
My Ride is 2006 lancer RA, with 1.8 turbo GDI (4g93) and am wondering aobut its reall HP, and how much is the stick boost, and the maximum boost can it handle before the ecu starts cutt off

Hey Bro,

The GDI 1.8 4g93 enigne spools up to (approx) 4.5bar boost. Apparently (no promises), you may boost it up to MAX 8bar. Wouldn't go higher that cos the engine is highly compressed at a 10:1 ratio.
Overall, it pushes out around 122kw (195hp).
Haven't tried it but I think the ecu has a boost cut off at 9bar and also a fuel cut.

Apologies....Typo error! I meant 4.5psi with 8psi max. hahahaa.....4.5bar sounds like a mutha of some boost!
1bar = 14.75psi
