Ive seen a couple lancers around that have actually replaced the front grill. I would like to do this and was searching around. Ive seen that they sell aftermarket ones for like 150. Possible to make my own? I know i can get the mesh but the frame looks like it would be a problem.

Also I would like to convert my automatic into manual...for obvious reasons seeing how I cant find a manual one anywhere. Possible?

They have grills:

http://www.body-kit.com/lan02gtgrill.html (you have to email for price)

You should be able to make your own with "gutter guard" that you buy at Home Depot/Lowe's/Menards. You would remove the factory grill and cut out the slots you want to replace with mesh.

As far as installing a manual tranny in a auto tranny car. Yes, it's possible. A few things you'll need (not a complete list):

-Transmission
-Clutch
-Shifter and linkage
-Pedal and hydraulics
-ECU for manual tranny
