does Mitsubishi even sell the pen? im using this red metallic paint that they custom made for my car when they had to repaint the whole side door, using that for rock chips but is there the pen with clear coat?

Yes, you can order it from your dealership (might be in stock). Mine was about $12 USD. It has paint on one side and clearcoar on the other.

I've heard other people complain that they don't like it but mine works fine. Like any touch up paint you still have to do it in stages and polish it smooth.

I just looked at what they charged me for my Paint Pen.....$7.13 from the dealership.

Haven't tried it out yet as the weather has been crap...Chicago....go figure right LOL!

You know what they say... if you don't like Chicago's weather, wait 10 minutes.

There was about 3 inches of snow on my sidewalk this morning. Where the hell did it all go?

You can also try https://www.paintscratch.com .. They sell paint pens, spray, clear coats and everything is OEM specific by color codes - so u dont have to worry about not matching stock paint.

I have a small but somewhat deep scratch about an inch long and not even a half an inch thick. Should i get the base coat and clear coat pen? I will need both correct?
