Hi, I just bought a 2002 Diamante LS for $11,399 with 24k miles on it 2 days ago and today when I checked all the fluids (which the dealer said they had already done) I saw that there is NO tranny fluid on the dipstick. Where is the tranny fluid container to see the level cause the car didn't come with a manual and I am having problems finding one. I'm taking it to the dealer tomorrow to have them check it and fill it, it runs great and shifts fine. Is there not a tranny fluid container? My Hyundai has one. Please help. Also, if anyone knows where I can get a manual or has one, please let me know. Thanks.

your car should be the same as the australian 2nd gen

http://www.mitsubishi-forums.com/index.php...2&st=0&p=150683

the oil goes into the dip stick

ccycle all the gears leave in park with motor running handbrake on
when hot check the auto oil level

oil should be between the high and low mark

do not over fill auto :gitara:

you know your supposed to check the tranny fluid when the car is on right? if you don't you will get low to no reading on your dip stick my man. you might want to check up on how your fluid levels need to be checked before you just rule out a dealerships word.
