Anyway, I just bought a '75 Colt with a 19XX D50 2.6 and 5speed. I'm not sure what year this engine is from; the previous owner passed before we completed the transaction and I actually bought it from his daughter. He just said is was a 2.6 from a truck and was installed when the car was 6 or 7 years old. It has the cat in the exhaust manifold and a water heated carb that I had to sledgehammer off. I want to ditch this intake in favor of a "dry" type so I can put my weber on it. is there another year manifold I can use? Is there another exahst manifold I can use that does not have the cat in it? I don't want to invest in a truck header just to have it not fit and be stuck with it. Also any leads on what year this engine might be? I figure it has to be around '79-'81
