1.5 Vs 1.8

Newbie Group: Members Posts: 3 Joined: 17-March 08 Member No.: 54,453 Location: Virginia Drives: 2000 Mirage Status: OFFLINE	Hey guys, I have a dumb question. How can you tell whether you have a 1.5 or a 1.8 4 cylinder motor? I just bought a 2000 Mirage and I think it's a 1.5 but I'm not 100% sure. Thanks.

Unregistered	there should be a vin code number in your door. it should have the engine displacement there as well. if not there is the sticker under your hood. it should just say 1.5 or 1.8. for the engine size.

I did however find the engine size on the little metal plate on the firewall. It's a 4G93, so I have the 1.8.
