I have located the fuel filter housing under the fuse box but how does it come apart and where do the rubber gaskets suppied with the filter go.Also how does the fuel level come back up after changing the filter.

The filter has a Torx head screw holding down the lid. This has to be loosened and withdrawn. The small rubber ring washer fits on this screw. The lid pulls off to the side and then the filter is extracted. Remove large rubber gasket from filter housing and replace with new one. Replace filter and close down lid and refit screw. You will find all this easier if you first unbolt the fuse bow above the filter housing and push to the side.
