I've just bought a used 2000 1.8 GLX GDI Space Star, but as yet have no User's Manual. Does anyone know where I can get hold of one please? Failing that, can anyone explain how to move the rear seats forward and back? Thanks!!!

I can't help with the owners manual, but it may be out there on the internet somewhere. Workshop manuals are no problem, see the pinned threads.

The rear seats are slid back and forth by finding the release bar at the middle front section, under the cushion, and pulling that up whilst pushing or pulling the seat assembly the way you want. Easier with two people, but not impossible on your own. As you have probably found, this feature is only useful for one or two occurences, as usually, when you want legroom for four / five people, youv'e got their luggage too. Typical that this feature gets put into short vehicles ( Meriva Spacestar etc), thus it's useless, but not larger estate cars!

Thanks for the info loz.......I'd never have worked it out for myself!! ...... Luggage space is actually quite deceptive ..... doesn't look very big at all on first glance, but have just managed to squeeze in cases for two adults and 3 teenagers without too much trouble, and without having to make any seat adjustments.
