I have a question for the stereo wizards.

I don't want put a loud exhaust on this car but would like to give the ladies in the car the Harley Vibration Effect.

Put a pair of these into the passenger seat.

I was surfing Ebay I saw something called Bass Shakers.

Started thinking, if a guy took a wireless mic ( like you would use at a convention) fed the output of the PA system into an amp to the Bass Shakers could you transfer the sound of your engine rev into the Bass Shaker and give your lady friend the Harley Effect?

It says the Bass shakers are very low freq response and the engine rev would be in the higher freq range so the cross over would probably never send anything to the bass shakers.

The freq of the motor rev would have to be electronically lowered to the sub woofer range.

Be neat if you could switch between stereo and car engine rev to bass shakers (dual use)

Would an equalizer lower the freq?
Has anyone hear of such a system?

Any ideas?

no I've never .... I cant even...

You want to put a mic in your engine bay, wire it to your stereo and put a speaker for it in your car....

Just open the windows bro.

Or better yet get on crutchfield they have subs that will fit under the seat then turn the bass up on that sub only.

LOL, yea I get some strange ideas. What I do for a living, gotta think way outside the box. One of my co-workers always asks if I have nightmares when I come up with some of my ideas at work.

Any rate, what I was shooting for, is on a Harley, (The older ones) they are like the world largest vibrators when running thur the gears. From the oil leaks, It must be self lubing.

The only way I could think of matching a Harley's vibration effect would be to mount a pair of Bass Shakers ( go by several names - Butt Kickers, etc.) Under the seats and pick up the sound of the engine rev which would transmit the into the seats.

Bass Shakers make no sound, only transmit motion (vibration) tactile transducer.

Plus, you could turn it off when not needed.

Home owners association wouldn't be too happy if I were to add headers and louder exhaust. Would have to install solid motor mounts to get the kind of vibration of a Harley.

Putting that much vib into the car, would rattle every bolt loose. Than it would probably leak oil like a Harley too.

You're just a young pup :-) Someday when you are as old as I am........

Silly idea, I'd have to disagree. Goofy Idea, I can live with that.
Wouldn't be the dumbest thing I've even done.

But, if I guy could make it work, could sell millions of them to the Honda owner who are trying to be fast and furious.

I've ordered an amp (1000w) I'll change it out with my old amp in the other car. use the old amp I think it is 200 or 300 watt.
Ordered the K-woon Bass shakers and a PA system. It was a few hundred bucks.
So the most I'll be out is a few hundred bucks.

Less than a guy would spend at Fred's (insert stripper emoticons here)

So you admit it's a riced up thing to do? Each to their own I guess.

You'll have the last laugh when you post up how random chicks keep having orgasms in your car without them or you even touching themselves!

Yeah I don't know about anyone else here but I prefer random chicks having orgasms from me touching than some kind of jedi-mind trick bass-shaker orgasm.
