:) Hi, I have a 1996 Chariot. It misfires whenever the revs are between about 2400 to 2800RPM. It doesn't matter if it is quickly passing through that rev range or is sitting at it for a while - it still consistently misfires only in this range. Has anyone else had this problem, or know how I could go about fixing it? Thanks. KP.

check your battery cables. replace your plugs. check for too much resistance on your ignition wires.

I had this sort of problem with my car too. It ended up being the plugs.

Try to change ATF and ATF filter.
