i know a couple people have asked this question but straight up which one is best for a 04 lancer ralliart. i live in CA. i hear so much of the positives and negatives of both but give me some real hard facts on why one would be better then the other...thanks people.

another thing too is which brand is the best. ive heard alot about AEM and fujita. but i want some advice from people who actually have them on their cars.

this topic died a while back. but.....the cold air intake moves the filter outside the engine bay where the air is "cooler". short rams pretty much just replace the stock air box. well kinda. yer not gonna get much of a HP gain from either one no matter what brand u buy. u will notice a difference in the sound though. i got an aem short ram. i chose aem for the nice powdercoated finish.

haah no dont buy a manual one they wont fit....

coz they have different settings on the MAF sensor...

the only things you can buy are either a short ram for auto...

or a direct replacement flat panel filter...

peace...

If a Cold Air Intake says it's for manual tranny cars only, then it will not work on a car with an automatic tranny.

If it's a short ram it will work on either tranny-equipped car.
