I have a 90 GTO TT and tried getting some drilled and slotted rotors last year but couldnt find anyone that could tell me if they were the same part as the 3000gt so I gave up, can anyone tell me whether they are the same?

You can get slotted rotors thru DBA Australia for the 3000GT. But can I recommend you NOT get cross drilled. They are kinda useless as far as performance goes. Sure they will keep your brakes cooler, but they will warp and crack in time. Slotted rotors are definetly a good idea, and are what I have on mine.

the GTO and 3000GT are exactly the same. Just make sure you keep with the same trim :)

Same Trim???

Ive seen some posts that these are not exactly the same. Not sure what to think. I am looking to replace the brakes on my 92 GTO.

Trim = Base/ SL or Twin turbo.

And the second gen are different as well.

So year specific and turbo or non turbo specific

So my 90 TT is only the same as a 90 3000GT TT? I thought they only released the 3000GT in 91?
