Alright, the 03 G V6 has 84,000 miles so I had the spark plug tune up done (plugs, wires and a few other things the garage should be replaced), they said the belts should last for 100,000 (I know the book says 60,000), and a week later a new battery and the general oil change.

Problem is that the temp. gauge goes up apparently for no reason the fans are on and fluids all ok. I had planned on taking it to the garage and getting the trottle body and air flow cleaned, which should take care of the sparadic stalling. Just not sure about the temp increase or what to ask at the garage without them taking me around the block with issues to address.

The increase doesn't seem to occur all the time, my commute to work is roughly 30 miles, flat land at 60mph, at times it increases. It seems to climbs to th highest (about 3/4 of the way) going up hill, but again not all the time.

I found the post from the G Overheating and was wondering if my new battery could be the problem. The guys putting it in couldn't believe how small it was for the car, add the fact it is all electric, moonroof and infinity system. Could that be draining the power and not allowing the fans to run right or as fast?

Any help would be appreciated!
