I was just wondering how wide of a tire, I can put on the 2008 Lancer gts without it coming out of the wheel well, I just want to be flush like the BMW 5 series. Currently have 215/45/18 tires and I wondering if I can put on 235/40/18 without sticking outside of the wheel wells.

Probably not unless you lower the car. The dealership had a Lancer with 235 wide tires and 20" rims a couple weeks ago.
