I have a '93 Montero. I have tracked the net for any information on this and I can't figure it out. My seat belt warning system was working perfectly. Then one morning my battery was dead and I had a friend to boost it. Then I noticed my seatbelt warning light remained on and the buzzer did not sound. I cannot find the location of the seat belt warning relay or the buzzer location. I was wondering if anyone here has had the same situation and know anything about it. Incidentally, I have had my Check Engine light to come on sometimes when I make a sharp right turn, but my engine seems to be unaffected. When I shut off my engine and start again, light goes off. I did have a problem with the engine flooding at start but I think I took care of it. There was a set screw on the throttlebody that was out of adjustment. I set it as instructed by specs and I have yet to have it flood again, hopefully I fixed that. Sorry about the long post but I wanted to include all the little things I have had trouble with in case by a long shot they could be related. Thanks for reading and I hope someone can help me. Love the forum, It's Cool.
