The night I bought my Eclipse I parked it in the garage and removed the "Eclipse" and the "GT V6" lettering instantly. Today, I got around to removing the rear diamond logo and the rear wiper arm. I found some 3/8" plastic plugs for the two holes left behind from the logo which I painted. I used a tooth pick to place a small amount of silcone around the plug for a water tight seal. As for the stem from the wiper arm I found a small plastic cap that I painted black.

The car looks so much cleaner now. No goofy logos and wiper blade. The stem of the wiper blade kind of looks like a small antenna. I may dig into the back and remove the entire wiper motor and just seal the hole with a plastic cap but I didn't have time for that today.

So, here's a few picks of my mods...

Whats with everyone removing the badging on their cars? I don't know why everyone would want to make people think they have a GS.

The badges and lettering cheapen the look of a very classy looking ride. It's so poorly done, it really looks terrible on the car. The "GT V6" wasn't too bad looking but that "Eclipse" across the hatch looks like crap. Plus, I don't care what the person behind me thinks I have under the hood.
