Some help please. My carisma 1.8 gdi has no heating. Neither through the A/C or from the engine heat. I checked the radiator and coolants and they're OK. Any clues?? I looked at the fuses I could identify but they look OK too. Any help appreciated.

Thanks

first i would check the coolant level, and top it up, and also you might have a fault thermostat, does the temperature gauge inside the car move? you say the power works but does it blow air out?

you said it as power mate but does it blow air out when you turn the blower on?, if it does i would put my hand on the two heater pipes located in the bulkhead, after you take it out to get it warmed up, then check the thermostat if you can out it in hot water, and you can also check for an air lock. take the radiator cap off and run the engine until it gets up to temperature and the fan comes on. and also put more coolant in, if it's been topped up with water chances are it needs topping up with coolant
