So, I get some dunkin donuts this morning, on my way to work, and end up with the frosting from the donut on my seat. What's the best stuff to use to clean it up without damaging the cloth or discoloring it?

Its an 09 GTS with the "Sports Cloth" and its in the middle of the driver seat.

The one thing I forgot, until this morning, is how much fun it is to try and eat and shift at the same time.

Steam cleaning. Thats what I used to clean up some gravy stains last year on my seats. Worked like a charm.

Did you try any kind of cloth/upholstery cleaner before you steamed it out?

I don't happen to have a steam cleaner handy, unfortunately.

No, the stain was in pretty deep and I was afraid of wrecking the suede :( Can't go wrong with gaseous water...

Although i guess the middle of the drivers seat isn't suede, so you should have more options there.

usually just sucks the gravy or frosting right off the seats.

try going to a DIY carwash and using their shampoo'r thats what I always used and had great success.

What she said. Any type of mild soapy water should be good.

Off top a bit, but the seat material outside the mid section doesn't seem like suede to me. Everyone says it is, but it just looks and feels like regular cloth.
