so I have a 1991 Mitsubishi eclipse Base model right and i was just wondering how how hard is it to swap it out with a 2.0 litre turbo? just want to know if anyone can help!

well it depends on what you have now. Is it the 4g37?

its so hard that you might want to sell your car and find yourself a turbo car.

actually with a 4g37 it has same motor mounts i beileve but youll need new trans new motor completeley new wiring harness it wont be direct swap and plug you will need lots of parts.

it can still be done on a busget of about $2000 right?

engine is about 1,000-1,500 or so. labor is ??? parts??? finding a good turbo ECU is 100-300.

and how much is your non turbo car worth?

It's probably gonna cost more than 2000 for the swap, and I can find turbo'd cars for sell under that price.

Sounds pretty simple to me.

But yes it can be done. No it's not easy. Yes it is expensive. You should have another car to drive for about 2 months.
