I ordered a set of beltline weather strips for my G1 today (outside bottom of the window.) Unfortunately, I was later informed Mitsubishi had discontinued them and my order was canceled. Does anyone know of a source?

As a worst case alternative, is there a good way to clean up old black weather stripping? My drivers door side actually has silver showing most of it's length, guess the surface rubber rotted away :(! There are other black trim areas around the roof that could look much better as well.

Thanks for any help -- Trevor

I struck out on finding new replacements, and so today, I carefully masked my driver's side door and proceeded to paint the beltline weather strip (flat black). It looks MUCH better, and should certainly hold the fort :)!

Thanks, but although they depict and talk about the lower trim, they only provide an add-to-cart option for the upper trim :(!
