Hey

About a year ago i had to hot wire my radio in and touched two wires together, blew a couple of fuses and my speedodmeter and odometer hasn't worked since. Ive changed the instrument cluster, Speed sensor, and the Gas gauge, tach, and the lights on bottom all work still. I think its a short between the ecu and the instrument cluster but cant find a wirning diagram or anything that can remotely tell me where and what to look for in finding the short or what wires i need to be lookin at. Can someone try to help me out on this. Got a 03 galant de 4 cyl.

Did yu check the "GAUGE" fuse? One should be in the cabin area fuse box and also under the hood.. Yu may have broken the constant ground for the speedo and tach that is shared in teh wiring harness for these components. Its hard to say how to go around and fix it . It can be simple or complex. Its up in the wiring near the Instrument cluster thats for sure. But check the gauges fuse. If nothing i can get yu a schematic to check the lug to cluster port to see if its a broken ground or current feed.
