I'm new to this thing and couldn't seem to find a similar post, so I hope someone can answer my question. I have a 2002 eclipse GT with Injen CAI and a Thermal cat-back exhaust. Every morning, and every night when I leave work, I have to try at least 3 times to start my car. The first couple of times it tries to start but just sputters and dies out. Once up to operating temp, if I turn it off to go into a store or something, it starts up fine. I've already replaced the battery and that didn't help. Is there some other adjustment that was supposed to be made when these parts were put on? Any help would be appreciated.

did you reset your ECU? you need to disconnect the battery for about 30 mins. then reconnect it, start the car, and let it idle for about 10 mins. DO NOT REV THE ENGINE.

also check for vacuum leaks
