The Instructions I have don't seem to work, the car is supposed to have Keyless entry.
The plug doesn't have pin 4 it does have pin 1 Is there a way to confirm Keyless capability?
I tried connecting pin 1 to ground but that didnt work.

call your local dealer and give them the vin number they will be able to tell you if it has key less entry capabilities or not.

Thanks, I called today the dealer confirmed the car has keyless remote.
I also solved the problem...
I was using a mirror and started from the wrong end of the plug, once I hooked up the correct pins (1 to 4) everything worked as per the instructions.
