Not to expensive or hard to replace. Check EBAY they have handles for sale cheap. Just have to swap over your lock cylinder.

shouldn't be to bad, I had the same issue when I bought my car, except it was the drivers side. I had a mechanic do the entire job, including paint to match the car, and it ran me about $200, if you didn't paint it it probably wouldn't cost you much at all...

It's like 20 to 30 dollars for the handle and literally a couple of screws and rod connections to remove it. Sppend 20 on a manual for your car and it will walk you through it.

What do you mean? I can spell out the directions. It's a door handle not a turbo rebuild or timing adjustments. The worst part is dealing with the plastic weather guard on the inside of the door with that black sealant.

driver door. you have the support for the window and the lower end of the glass. you do NOT have a straight shot with a rachet, and unless your freakin gumby you cant get a wrench in there.

passenger door i figured would just be the same.

yeah and these door handles break wayyy to easily.

a cold mourning got mine...

i have to pull fast and on the corner of the handle to get mine open. my wife can't do it. i call it my anti-theft handle. (actually said that to the shop i went to, to do my oil and the lady inspecting the car said "wow, i didn't know they made those")
made me laugh for a week.

FYI: I have a door handle repair kit that I have sold for the last four years to many 95-99 Eclipse owners. It allows you to re-use your old 95-99 handle and if you have a GS, GST or GSX you won't have to pay someone to paint the handle to match your car since the aftermarket and dealer handles are all black.

I also have a nice tutorial with a few tricks on how to get the handle out of the door a little easier, especially how to disconnect the push rod.

Tutorial for handle removal

Easy??? Depends on who you ask, I did mines and the factory alarm trigger is still not right so I gotta unlock the passenger said then go to the driver's side to get in or else get in on the driver's side and set off the alarm.
Good theft deterent though but shoud some jackass park too close on the passenger side I'm SOL unless I wanna go in through the hatch just so I don't hafta hear the noise hehehe!!! :)
