so today i did a tune up and redid all of my ground wire
so after i was done had to take it for a ride of course.....
i just want to say between the grounds being redone and the tune up my car was pulling way!!harder

so i was driving along and was in 3rd and just pinned it hit about 4k and heard a noise(i live in the desert so its not unusal to run over rocks in the road)and my car just took off like a rocket....it was triping me out but i was loving it

the little car was ripping though gears and hauling ****(from what it noramly does haha)

i get to the point where i have to turn and i have no power steering ,i thought hmmm so i try my ac no luck there either ....i get home and and check it out and my belt broke(that explains the nose now)

so my question now is will and underdrive pulley fill like this or pretty close to,cuz if some im going to buy one tomorrow

Why would it be the best mod?

i've got one and gotta say i love it. but i also did an exhaust and down pipe and tires all at the same time. so i don't know where to give the credit to, the exhaust/downpipe or the pulley.

Exhaust / Downpipe.

My friends TSI wouldn't even let lose in first. After a full 3 inch... yup.

I got a brand new underdrive pulley from unorthodox racing just sitting in my room and I wanna get rid of it. It's not a good idea to put it on a daily driver.

well, even though it may not be good for a DD. its on my DD. and i haven't had a problem yet. (at least that i know of)
it has shut down 3 or so times when i shift to nuetral and slow way down. but that may be something completely different.
either way, i'm not saying its a great idea. but i don't have anything to prove its a bad one either.

well yea they tend to cause your car to turn off every now then cause the alternator won't spin fast enough but bottom line you don't technically GAIN anything from them because they just make all the accesory belts slow down and that isn't good for a car you drive everyday.

pretty much i knew from the honda world that they where bad but just was asking....by the way my car sucks a** with out power steering haha i need to get a new belt badly but got to wait to get payed

and i think the reason the car seemed so fast that night is cuz it was pretty cold and i just putt on the CAI so my engine was just loving life and throw her belt off to feel free haha

I prefer to drive without PS anyways. You get more control without it. My 1g had no power steering whatsoever

I like to be comfortable, I will keep the ac and power steering.

I've driven plenty of Porsches with no PS, nothing special. I'm sticking with mine.

I personally like the car better without power steering except when you're trying to parellel park or hit a K turn
