on an auto matic
you need to connect to the isolator switch
located on the auto box below the selector cable ''

it doesnt need idle control it wires in the drive and reverse

if on a manual you would wire the reverse switch into you system

if you want acelerator control or limiter

you will need to connect to the acelerator with a stepper motor somehow
