Has anyone ever relocated the HVAC on a lancer to make way for a double din style in dash av unit ? is this at all possible ? how much cutom work are we talking about > ?

This company sells a kit for installing a double DIN stereo in the Lancer.

any other companys? those guys seem to be about to go chapter seven . or are they the only ones who make a havac relocation kit ?

dude you know there are such things as actual in dash monitors right? the monitor electronically comes out of your dash every time you start your car, then goes back in your dash when you turn your car off.

its the same size of a regular deck, so if your radio has a cubby hole above it or below it. you simply remove the stock cubby and put the monitor deck in place of it. remember yo have to have a relative DVD deck to run this monitor, but its not that hard to find DVD decks now-a-days.
