new to this & come across the site in desperation, I ave a 1996 Mirage GLXI 1.6 which I love to bits, few months back the engine check light appeared, at the same time I had the following if I had already driven the car & tried to start it again within 2-3hrs it will start but with a shudder and then cut out within 5-6 seconds, however if left long enough starts & drives excellent, I have replaced ignition coil fuel filter spark plugs etc, car has been on 2 diagnosis machines and come back with nothing been in different garages who cant find anything wrong-when the car starts it will run for hrs until I turn it off but within 10 minutes of driving the check engine light will appear, Im so fed up of people saying "oh just get rid" cos the car still drive perfect when it starts & has never cut out while im driving - anyone any suggestions???
