hi, i have a 98 pontiac sunfire, is overheating when i drive it for over 30 minutes, i replace the termostat and now i did the same with the gauge sensor, i tought the car might be "telling me lies" cause the engine didn't feel too hot, so, is there any commun problems beside that? some friends told me that it can not be the radiator, 'cause if it was that it would do that with just five minutes driving, any help is really apreciated, :liebe011:

dicha check the radiator cap?

perhaps the engine internals are clogged. try some radiator flush. My much abused car (done by the previous owner) didn't maintained the car well. I flushed the radiater & engine, tons of "sediment" like yellow clay came out. Took 10 flushing to clean the system After the flushing, things went back normal.

well, i did check the temperature with one of those laser thermometers and it seem my radiator is working fine, in some parts of the hoses temperatures are fine andin some not, so i think is the water pump or maybe a hose is "stuffed", so i will check the hose first and then do the water pump, than you for your replys and help!!!
