Hi all, I am currently working for an aftermarket diagnostics company who are developing new Mitsubishi CAN diagnostics for their tool. I am trying to distinguish between the following L200 variants as displayed on the MUT3 nenu:

L200 (KB#)
L200 (K6#,K7#)

I need to know what these numbers mean to this model? and if this information is shown on the car somewhere?

Cheers

Ben

I guess you're the same chap asking on the L200 Owners Club?
My 2.5 Di-D has a model code starting KB4T...
2006 (new shape) Animal DC.

The plate on the drivers side bulkhead in the engine bay displays this info.

I'm assuming the other codes will be for the 3.2 Di-D and the V6 petrol.

Don't forget that ( as far as I'm aware) all L200 DC & single/club cabs that come into this country (UK) are the same but have the model designation (i.e Warrior, Animal, Elegance) and accessories fitted at Bristol Docks.

HTH a bit!
