its common just ride it out for a lil while make sure it doesnt die (rev like 1k constant) .Eats gas but its because the computer shut off- always take ur power off first RED
then Ground(black) or in its not safe FYI
The computer is just sending signals to every little thing making sure its meant to control this that etc. etc...

I'd like to know the outcome of this? I know that the computer has to "re-learn" the driving conditions after you reconnect the battery. I would disconnect again and see if if won't re-learn on itself. Dry the car normally afterwards; this is only assuming that the car will idle! Good Luck! :57:

Yeah, my cars battery has died a couple times due to me leaving my halos on like a dumb---.It idled really low then it would fix itself after a day or two.The strange thing is I've drained my battery accidently a few more times and each time my Idle is closer to where it should be as soon as I charge it.Like the computer anticipates this as almost "normal behavior" so it adapts to the mentioned scenario quicker each time...it's a Smart car!!

This is a big NO NO... touching positive and negative terminal will short everyting or posible injury to yourself. If you want to reset the computer for your car just remove the negative terminal for 10 mins or more.
